CURRICULUM & PROGRAMS

Amplify Math & Illustrative Math

Our math curriculum is Amplify Math, a core math curriculum built for grades 6, 7, 8, and Algebra 1, built upon the highly rated curriculum, Illustrative Mathematics' IM K–12 Math, which was heavily researched and field-tested and has earned an all-green score on EdReports. The program delivers engaging, discourse-rich math lessons that are easier to teach and flexible, social problem-solving experiences both online and off, helping every student build real conceptual understanding rather than memorize procedures.

English Language Arts

Our English Language Arts curriculum is HMH Into Reading (elementary) and HMH Into Literature (middle school), a comprehensive English language arts program that creates passionate, critical readers. Built on texts that connect with students' lives, HMH Into Literature builds confidence, standards mastery, and college and career readiness for every learner in the classroom, supporting strong readers, writers, and critical thinkers at every grade level.

SCIENCE

Amplify Science is a science curriculum that blends hands-on investigations, literacy-rich activities, and interactive digital tools to empower students to think, read, write, and argue like real scientists and engineers. It is designed to spark our elementary students’ interest and empower them to ask more questions, think more critically, and generate innovative ideas.

The technology club helps with technology repairs around the school and acts as a place for students to practice and perfect their technology skills. In class students use Minecraft for education and Scratch which allows for block coding.

Visual Arts

The Visual Arts Program at Spring Creek Community School empowers students to express themselves creatively while building strong artistic and critical thinking skills. Through hands-on projects across a variety of mediums, students explore their ideas, develop their unique voices, and connect art to the world around them. The program encourages creativity, confidence, and meaningful self-expression that students carry beyond the classroom.
