Science

The science department at Spring Creek Community School is dedicated to creating an inquiry driven classroom experience through collaborative effort. The middle school science curriculum for New York State is designed to ensure students have the exposure, skills, and foundational knowledge in the four core sciences (Biology, Earth Science, Chemistry, and Physics) to be successful at the High School level and beyond.

Through a constant incorporation of literacy and mathematical skills we push students towards achieving their highest scientific potential. Utilizing our modern laboratory facility and hands-on activities we ensure that students are familiar with real life scientific understanding. Inviting students to engage in scientific inquiry does not only make them stronger scholars but pushes them to be more active and engaged citizens who critically examine the world around them, and question the scientific foundations of our society.
